The front end of our e-hailing service is what you, the user see and interact with. The technology used in building the front end determines the look and feel of the app. Below are a few simple steps to operating Gab for customers:
GAB DRIVER APP
There are a few crucial stages our drivers need to follow to ensure a complete registration. These are as follows;
- Download and Install the Gab Drivers App: The first step for drivers to register on the Gab Drivers app is to download the app from their respective app stores. (Either Google Play Store or Apple Store).
- Sign Up: After downloading the app, you open it and it takes you straight to an interface that displays a box to input your phone number. Once that is done, an OTP code will be sent to your phone for confirmation. Input the numbers and move to the registration proper.
- Complete Driver Registration: With the headline of the first stage as PROFILE.
a. This stage will require you to insert your Full Name,
b. Email Address, Password, and Re-enter Password for confirmation.
c. Then you proceed to impute your Home Address, Date of Birth, Gender and
Employment Status.
d. After everything is filled it takes you to the next stage- NEXT OF KIN. This stage comprises of Next of Kin’s Name, Next of KIN’s Phone Number, Next of
Kin’s Address and your Relationship with the next of kin.
e. The next stage comprises of Vehicle Category, Vehicle Manufacturer, Vehicle Year, Vehicle Colour, and Vehicle Plate Number.
f. Afterward, it brings us to the LICENCE page where you input your Driver’s License Number, License Expiry Date, upload your Driver’s License, and Upload your Driver’s Profile Picture. This takes us to the last stage of
Driver’s Registration – Bank details.
g. The BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS stage requires the
driver to input his/her bank account details.
- Vehicle Inspection: Gab requires its drivers to visit our designated Inspection center nearest to you, which you will receive a text message, email, or phone call. When you arrive at their scheduled time for proper vehicle inspection and particulars verification, there would also be a driver tutorial about the app’s features, policies, and other important information.
GAB CUSTOMER APP
- Download and Install the Gab App: The first step for customers to register on the Gab App is to download the app from their respective app stores (Either Google play store for Android users or Apple Store for iOS users). The registration includes the address and any authorized I.D. card by the government. In case of an accident or accidental death, this card would be used to identify the passenger.
- Accept Terms and Conditions.
- Allow Gab access to your location.
- Sign Up: Once the app is installed, customers can sign up using their phone number or email address. Enter your Full name, Email address, and Phone number with the first zero number rightly omitted, it must be 10-digit numbers. Input the five (5) digit code sent to your registered number via SMS.
- Start Using the App: After completing the above steps voila! the end. Customers can start using the Gab app to book their rides.
